Wonderland: Two Jews on a Cruise

What are you all doing tomorrow night? Actually never mind, it doesn't matter because you're going to need to change your plans.
Wonderland: - Two Jews on a cruise
BBC2
9:00pm
That's my recommendation for the night...........

Wonderland is a documentary series on BBC2 that covers the lives of different types of people.
The couple on tomorrow night, Gaby and Tikwah Lock, have been on before in a program about Hasidic weddings. The pair have been married for 40 years but never been on holiday.
The show tomorrow night will follow their first holiday ever and, as you've probably guessed, it will be on a cruise ship.
It's a twelve day Med cruise on a ship called the Golden Iris and I'm really interested to see not only how first time holiday makers take to a cruise but also how strict orthodox Jews do.

Watch it with me tomorrow, it should be interesting.

Happy cruising.

  1. Myself and my partner went on a cruise with two different sects of The Jewish Faith, and they were good together.(or so we thought). We got friendly with a Mr. and Mrs. Solomon, he was in a wheel chair, they invited us to their evening of bread and wine. The following week this other group joined us. Ha, ha and there was hell up - Mr. Solomon was so mad he stood up and all the words passed were in Hebrew. Oil and water does not mix. The group from Isreal were so bad mannered not all, but about half. There was no meeting on the 2nd to last Saturday.
