P&O going green - What they aren't telling you.......

If you've booked a cruise with P&O lately and had a look at your cruise personaliser you may have noticed something new. There is now an option on there for you to go green.
Now we all know about global warming; we all now about deforestation; so the automatic reaction is to tick the yes box on something like this; yes please I'd like to go green!
But what aren't P&O telling you?

Well to start with that not telling you exactly what going green means!
Does it mean they will donate some money to a 'green' charity on your behalf? No.
Does it mean they will plant a tree in your name? No.
What it means is that as soon as you tick the button called go green you will no longer receive any mail from P&O. As simple as that.
No luggage labels.
No excursion booklets.
Nothing.
You won't know this until you've ticked the button and once you've opted to go green you can't change your mind. You will have to view all your excursions online and print out your own cruise luggage labels.
Good for the environment? Probably
Good for P&Os profits? Definitely!

If you still want to go green feel free, you can still view everything online and it is better for the enviroment. Just be aware of what you're doing before you press the button.

Happy cruising
