Second star on the right, then straight on till morning

Disney aren’t getting much blog space at the moment from me or many of my colleagues, but I think for 2011 and definitely 2012 they will be one of the top requested family cruises.

They currently have two ships, the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder with the Disney Dream scheduled to launch in 2011 and the Disney Fantasy in 2012. They also own Castaway Cay, a private island in the Bahamas.

What though makes them stand out from other family orientated cruises? Well obviously you have everything you would expect from a Disney cruise like all the favourite characters wondering around but there are a host of other innovations that you might not expect.
They have built a one-of-a-kind rotational dining experience, where Guests "rotate" through 3 different restaurants with personalized service from servers who travel with you to each meal. You can enjoy Broadway quality original Disney musicals that can't be seen anywhere else—as well as special first-run Disney movies. They also have themed deck parties including a spectacular fireworks display at sea, one of the only cruise lines to do this. There are also several adult bars and nightclubs for the grown ups to escape to after a hard day of playing.
However for anyone not yet convinced I would ask them to play the video below of the Aqua duck and tell me they wouldn’t be pushing their kids out of the way to have a go! (Please give the video a second or two to load if you get a white screen)

If you are intrested in booking a Disney cruise or any other family friendly cruises please feel free to call me.

Happy cruising
