Allure of the Seas ………The Countdown Begins

The Allure, as I’m sure you all know by now is set to launch in December this year and I know a lot of people are getting very excited, but do we want a clone of the Oasis of the Seas?
Well thankfully it’s not going to be an issue.

RCCL have been keeping the exact details of the ship under close wraps but as we get closer to launch more and more details about the ship have been released. I’ve combed a few different websites to put the following information together for you.

Chicago
Chicago the musical has been announced as the Allures signature Broadway production – excellent news for all you jazz fans out there.

3-D Cinema
The Allure of the Seas will have a 3-D cinema screen from launch- Not technically a unique feature though as Oasis of the Seas, Liberty of the seas and Freedom of the Seas will all have this equipped by January 2011 – can’t find anything about the Independence getting this though, have any of you heard any rumours about it?

Ritas Cantinas
Rita’s Cantina will be a vibrant new restaurant in the Boardwalk neighbourhood; adults and kids will be able to enjoy some of their favourite Mexican fare. Rita’s Cantina also will boast some of the best and widest selection of margaritas at sea. Ritas Cantina will introduce new nightlife to Boardwalk with live guitar music, drinks and dancing. Its design will include large open walkways and an outdoor seating area complete with high top tables and stools, and will be located in place of Seafood Shack aboard Oasis of the Seas.

The Boardwalk Dog House
An outdoor hot-dog specialty counter located where the donut shop is on Oasis of the Seas. Guests can choose from traditional hot dogs, wieners, brats, sausages and other delicious linked meats and a variety of toppings to split a long bun. The Donut Shop will remain on Boardwalk in a new location next to the Ice Cream Shop.

GUESS
Guess will also be debuting its first flagship store at sea this December in Allure of the Seas’ Royal Promenade neighbourhood. Guests will enjoy the latest stylish handbags, wallets, watches, shoes, jewellery, eyewear and perfumes currently gracing all the supermodels of New York, Paris and Milan in one of the largest GUESS accessory stores.

I-Pod
Each stateroom aboard Allure of the Seas also will be equipped with an Apple I-pod dock for guests to set their own personal ambience.
