Only two sleeps left till Christmas now! It's getting exciting!
Todays Christmas Advent blog will be in honour of the weather we've had over the last few days. Hopefully you might find it useful.

3 days and counting

Well there's only three days left day and I finaly finished all my Christmas shopping, (I say finished, I only started it today as well).
I really hope you've all enjoyed my little Christmas Advent calender and have found it funny/useful/informative or all of the above. I'm going to try and hit all three for you now with todays Advent treat.

Just 4 days now

I met up with an old friend today for a few Christmas drinks and it was whilst swapping stories about our kids and the cute things they do he told me this little gem, which I'm about to share with you.
It's important to remember during this story that my friend is the owner of a B&B up north, (he was down visiting family).

Just 5 days left....

I cannot believe how much snow we have had over the last few days; I'm just glad I'd already booked the time off work so that I can enjoy it all with my family rather than having to struggle through it into work.
I'd been trying to think of something a bit light-hearted to cheer everyone up still struggling to work everyday when my wife sent me a text saying wouldn't it of been funny if the three wise men had been wise women?
They would have asked for directions, arrived on time, helped deliver the baby, cleaned the stable for Mary, made her some nourishing soup for later and bought the baby Jesus practical gifts.

That's it then. There is exactly one week to go before the big now. I hope you've all been enjoying this advent calender as there's only a few days left now.

I'm going to deviate from the normal advent treat a little today and instead let you all know what I've been up to this morning.

To start with, I'm really tired as it involved a 6:30 start and then I spent the rest of the morning trying to keep up with an over excited two year old, no easy task as I'm sure any parent can tell you. So where have I been? You'll have to read on for that info.

Well its finally here, our Christmas countdown has finally reached single figures; there’s only 9 shopping days left till Christmas! Let's hope you're all ready, you don't want to be out shopping on Christmas eve like I always am.

Merry Christmas all. I've been writing this series of Advent blogs for a while now but it's been pointed out to me that it hasn't been very traditional, (not always a bad thing). But in keeping with the season I thought to myself;
"What would a traditional advent calender look like?"

“Come on in man and know me better”, as the ghost of Christmas present was fond of saying.
As you can probably tell I’m feeling the Christmas spirit today so I thought I’d treat you all with this little ditty, (my wife’s heartily sick of hearing me sing it in the shower now anyway so enjoy……………
